Accidental Mint

Way back in the winter, we remodeled our upstairs bathroom. I talked about it here. I went back and forth with paint colors (if you are new to the blog this is normal for me) and settled on Martha Stewart's Sea Anemone.

While painting, I was a little nervous about it looking more minty than a light turquoise I was hoping for. I mean who wants a mint green bathroom? Little did I know a few short months later mint would become all the rage. So I like to think I accidentally stumbled onto a trend. Hey, I have never claim to be a trend setter just a follower. So now of course, I LOVE the color I chose.

I even got some mint cropped denim from Zara...

I love these jeans. I would love to get more in different colors and for $35 they are a steal. You can only get these in the stores unfortunately. Read more about why I am wearing a scarf on my head here.

Don't be afraid to pair your mint with navy, coral, or denim. White is too easy.
