This is the perfect picture to capture how was really feeling. I will probably regret posting this picture later because I look pretty pitiful.
I don't know why I am holding my stomach like that. In this picture it looks like I still have a lot of hair left but once I got in the shower to rinse off the hair just kept shedding.
Having no hair has definitely made this whole cancer thing more real. Before I could go about my business and no one would really notice that there was something wrong with me other than the scar on my chest. Now it is obvious and I am not one to want attention drawn to myself. It will just take some time getting used to. The annoying thing is that it will probably be close to a year before I have the grown out pixie that I just cut off.
So now I will be done complaining and start gathering up cute scarfs and accessories to make the best of it.
Apparently Anne Hathaway has just shaved her head for a new role.
And here are some other perfectly good ladies who shaved their heads. They better have been payed a lot of money for their roles to shave off a perfectly good head of hair.
