New Job

Well, I am officially a full time SAHM. I had been going back and forth on whether or not to try and keep up with being a PT hairstylist while doing chemo. I had to think about paying rent, schedules, little man's schedules, my mom's schedule and how I felt. It was all a little too much to think about. So last week I sent out an email to my clients telling them all of this. It was a really hard decision to make because my job was fun (even though I did complain a little about it) it was a pretty easy gig. No boss, came and went as I pleased, talked to friends/clients and made people feel better. I had been doing hair for about 6 years and had a lot of clients for all 6. It was hard to give up those clients, you get a little possessive of them. You know they are going to pay someone else to do their hair and it's hard to loose that money. I am lucky that we don't need my income but I liked having the extra.

Let's hope I don't end up looking like this.

So now what am I going to do you ask? I am going to rest, take care of my family, take care of my house and enjoy the summer. I kept thinking about "what could I do at home to make a little extra money?" I racked my brain thinking about what I like to do. I like shopping, decorating, hunting for good deals and being creative. Lately I have liked thrifting. But don't really know how I would make money in those ways. Then it dawned on me. I have a blog that I really LOVE. So I am going to put more effort into growing it and bringing all of you lovely readers more fun posts. My goal is not to only make money but if the opportunity presents itself than hey I will consider it.

I am currently taking sponsors for the blog. If you know anyone with a blog, or have a blog yourself, a small business or anything else you think would fit in with I Love That! email me ilovethat.jordin@gmail.com. I would love to talk to you.

I have also joined the social media bandwagon. I am still a little confused about Twitter but slowly becoming obsessed. I added on the top right social media buttons. Just click on any of them to follow my Facebook Page, Twitter, Bloglovin and Pinterest.

I appreciate all of you reading my little blog and look forward to continuing writing more.
