It may be slightly late for a weekend post but here are a few pics from what our weekend was like...
Date night at Mi Dia. Chicken Tinga Street style tacos. There were actually 4 on the plate and yes I ate them all! This place is soooo good!

Today I am having my 3rd round of chemo. Blah! The novelty has really worn off. Yes I have 5 hours to sit and read magazines, surf the internet, watch tv and chat with friends but now I know the week after is not too fun. It's not horrible but it takes about a week to recover. The time in between treatments seems to be going by faster too. Its good because that means I am closer to the end but bad because I feel like I just had chemo.
Meanwhile, I have been researching ways to grow hair faster. When I am done with this horribleness I want my hair to grow back ASAP. So I am thinking if I am prepared with a plan of action, my hair will grow back faster. We'll see. I think I am going to try the Castor Oil one.
One more thing. My good friend went to her cousin's wedding in Georgia this weekend and she brought me back a gift from her grandmother.
She was telling her grandmother about me and she got up and came back with
The Knaughty Look book. It is packed full of good ways to tie a scarf. Isn't she sweet! It is obvious that she has had this book since the 80's and there is an old Dillard's tag in it. It's vintage.
We got a good laugh out of it! Thank you Memom Fuller!

Jordin - I found your blog through Becca Beam Calvert. My mom had breast cancer last year and did 50 rounds of Chemo. Stay tough! Rub your scalp with jojoba oil - it will encourage good return growth & hopefully uncurly hair. Also, rub your nails with tea tree oil if they get then, sensitive, or brittle.
