We recently got a new TV for our den and we were able to hang it on the wall. I titled the post "Simple TV Styling" because I didn't want to spend a lot of money on accessories so I called it simple instead of cheap. But it was cheap.
This is my first time trying out real plants in the house. These were so cheap at Walmart and succulents are "in" right now. We will see how long they last. Check out The Nester's Using Plants in Your House Series for great ideas on indoor plants.
I want to start collecting design books. You know the books you see in Anthropologie. For now Domino, magazines, and Remembering Jackie Kennedy(random) will do.
Table: Homegoods $179
Tray: Homegoods $14.99
Glass Vase: Homegoods $4.99
Succlents: Walmart $1.50 each
Gray vase: Homegoods $7.99
Baskets: Target $39.99
I added some pillows to the new couch. Excuse the wrinkles. I thought they would fall out but it appears I am going to have to actually do something about them myself.
The white ones are from Ikea and the blue from Target. I still want to add a leopard pillow to mix it up. See my pillow plan here.
This room is shaping up nicely. Now if I could only get the toys out of it.

The room looks great! I love how the mounted tv frees up so much space. The accessories on the table, the couch and pillows- it feels so open and chic.
