Anastasia is a brow guru and she has a whole line of products to help you have fantastic brows. Here is what I bought.
Tinted Brow Gel and Brow Wiz Pencil
Here is what my brows looked like before chemo (I had false lashes on FYI)....
Now after chemo....
Whoa! They need help. There is actually some little stubs growing back in. My hair on my head is growing back too. Yay!
So I first I apply the tinted gel. This basically coats and adds color to your existing brows. You want to use a color that is a little lighter than your actual brows. Otherwise, it can look to harsh. I would have a few Qtips on hand to smudge the color if it goes on too dark.
So I then use the pencil to fill in the little gaps. You can see how one looks darker than the other.
Even as the hairs start to grow back I am sure I will need these products. I feel as I have gotten older my brows had thinned out naturally. So this maybe part of my makeup routine from now on.
Brows make such a big difference in the way you look and frame your face. It is definitely worth using products and tweezing/waxing them to make them more defined. Just make sure you don't go to crazy with either.
Oh yeah, today's my 33rd birthday. So what kind of present do I give myself? Extremely large pictures of my face on the blog today. Whoa! But if it helps anyone out there, then it's worth it.
