Doing a Little Happy Dance

I was supposed to have chemo today but my blood counts were too low so we have to delay a week. On one hand,  it is disappointing because who wants to delay the miserableness any longer. On the other hand, I get an extra week of feeling pretty good.

So when your blood counts are low it means you are more susceptible to infections. So I have to be  crazy wash your hands lady for the next week. I also have to stay away from crowds. I asked my doctor what exactly is a crowd? He said a shopping mall. What? That's no fun. It's like he knows me so well. But he said Walmart is ok. They makes no sense whatsoever.

So now for the happy dance. We are pretty sure (99%) that next week will be the last chemo I have to do!! I can't tell you how happy that makes me. I will still have to do radiation, which I really no nothing about and how it affects you, but it can't be any worse than chemo.

So I will just pray that next week my counts will be good and I can get this all over with and leave Crazy Cancer Lady behind.
