A Peek at Fall

I mustered up the energy to go to Target this week because I feel if I haven't been there in a few weeks I might miss out on something. I was pleasantly surprised to see a few pieces that would carry into Fall out on the racks.

I don't know if I have shared with you my annoyance with Target sometimes. Now, I adore Target. I love it, I wanna squeeze it's little cheeks but sometimes their choices in clothing colors just baffles me. Also, have I mentioned how I dislike their website immensely? They do everything else so well: affordable home accessories, fashion, a place to just cruise around with your kids when you have nothing else to do, and even their commercials aren't annoying. So why can't they have a better website? I will save that for another day. Anyway, they have gotten better at it and it seems maybe this season they have gotten over their use of muted shades. Do you ever notice that when the cold front comes through you will see shades of dusty rose, burgundy or muted green or sage? I am sorry if you like these colors. I probably can't stand them because they just look awful on me. In the past I would always see a shirt or skirt that I liked at Target but hated the color choices so I ended up with black, gray or white. I often wonder, why does winter have to mean boring colors? But this season it seems to be that bold, jewel toned colors are in and Target has taken note. Hallelujah!

Xhilaration Animal Print Sweater $24.99 it also comes without the leopard but I kinda like leopard. I would wear this with dark skinny cropped jeans and ballet flats.

I couldn't find the heart sweater online but I bet it will be gone quick in the stores
