No Labor Weekend

The title is not exactly true. When you own a home, cars and have a 2.5 year old that needs milk is there really such a thing as a "no labor" weekend? Cleaning, washing, grocery storing did happen but there was also some relaxing. How was your Labor Day weekend?

On the cancer home front: I started radiation on Tuesday. Tuesday was actually a "dry run." Nothing can be easy when you have cancer. It's not like scheduling a massage. You don't just show up for anything, there are always multiple appointments involved.  I guess I am glad though that the doctor goes over everything and wants to practice first before you have radioactive lights beaming into your chest. So I was supposed to start #1 out of 20 on Wednesday but got a phone call that the construction workers, who have been tormenting everyone within a 5 mile radius for the past year working on roads, cut the offices Internet line. The radiation machine is run by computers. Dang you technology! So I started Thursday and will be going five days a week for 4 weeks. It hasn't been that bad so far so hopefully it will be a breeze from now on.

Over the weekend, I tried something I never have before. Denim on denim. I kinda like it.

Shirt Old Navy (similar)
Shorts Old Navy (similar)
Watch Target
Bracelets Stella & Dot, Nordstroms and Forever 21

These shorts have been a staple the last few months and I think the shirt will be a staple for the next few months.

You did the denim on demin look so well! I have wanted to try it myself, but feel like my demins don't work well together. Thinking I should try this anyways with how great it looks on you.

Stopping by from the Pleated Poppy link up party.
