Re-thinking the Department Store

I am not talking about Nordstrom and Neiman's, everyone knows their fabulous. I am thinking more along the lines of Macy's and Dillards. We walked through Macy's while on vacation in Vegas and I was shocked at all the cuteness.

Let's just use Macy's for example. Did you know that Nicole Richie and Rachel Roy have small lines at Macys? Have you seen Bar III and Kensie? They also have Free People, Joe's Jeans and Seven for All Mankind. And the best part is the SALES!

I think the reason I have avoided these stores because they can be overwhelming. Where do you find your style there? They make it easy for you by putting certain styles in "stores." Macy's has Impulse which contains all of the above.
